Olla Basil, a player from the Qatar National Team, won the doubles competition at the ATF 14 & under Damascus 2010. Olla played alongside Pakistani Iman Qureshi.   

 

The duo started the tournament with a bye into the second round  where they clashed with Anna Abulhaj and Ciwar El – Tayeh from Jordan. The match proved to be an easy one for Olla and Iman losing only two points in each set, ousting the Jordanians by 6-2, 6-2 allowing them to move to the semifinals of the tournament. During the semifinals the girls effortlessly downed Syrians’ Sabine Bahna and Racha Al Boudera by 6-1, 6-2.

 

During the finals Olla and Iman were supposed to face Rikeetha Pereira and Sanjana Sudhir from India, but the players retired before the match due to injuries from one of the players permitting Olla and Iman to claim the title in the Doubles competition.
