The players of the Qatar National Team keep enjoying great success in the Summer Camps abroad. During the first tournament of the Sweden Camp held the second week of July, Qatari player Abdulrahman Ali Al Harib entered the main draw - having moved up through a qualifying tournament overcoming three national players - and reached the semifinals.

 

Harib first defeated Erik Dahl Molndals by 6-2, 6-2, during the first round and moved onto the quarterfinals where he met Georg Lundkvist. Harib had a superb performance trashing his opponent by 6-0 during the first set. Georg recovered during the second set winning two points but he was ousted by Harib by 6-2, securing a spot in the semis.

 

In the semi-finals, Harib clashed with another local player Serdar Bojadjieva. He lost the opening set by two points. During the second set he stormed back to clinch the first 4 games, but Serdar could not be stopped and overcame Harib by 7-5. Serdar claimed the title in the finals against Vincent Dahlin by 6-0, 6-3.
