Federer Addresses a Press Conference at the Media Center of the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex

World No.1 Roger Federer addressed a press conference at the Media Center of the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in the occasion of his most anticipated participation in the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2010.

Federer arrived at the Press conference room with a small delay due to previous engagement inside the stadium that included driving a Mobil 1 Grand Prix simulator allocated in the ExxonMobil Stand at the Public Village of the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.

Once inside the press conference room, with a great smile and humble attitude Federer answered every question asked by the local and international media.

Federer expressed his positive opinion on the possibilities Qatar has to    host big events such as the Olympics or the World Cup and praised the incredible organizational skills of the country when it comes to organizing big sporting affairs.

During the conference the Swiss superstar also expressed his desire to stay as World No.1 since he has worked very hard to come from No.2 to No.1. Staying healthy is a priority in the tennis player’s life. When asked about his training for the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2010 he said” I am taking one match at a time”
Roger Federer is surrounded by pressure all the time which makes him play better.

Federer is one of the very few tennis players who do not suffer from constant injuries and when asked by the journalist gathered at the press conference about this topic he explained that his secret lies in the fact that he plays very smoothly and his movements are not rough.
