Main draw matches begin on Monday, January 2, 2012 and there are explosive matches right from the early rounds. No. 1 seed Rafael Nadal of Spain takes on the talented Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany in round one. The most anticipated first round match up happens to be last year's final – with Roger Federer (three time winner and defending champion in Doha) taking on 2010 champion Nikolay Davydenko. That will certainly be an exciting and explosive match up!
