David Rice Wins 3rd ITF Futures

On Saturday, David Rice of Great Britain defeated Patrik Fabian of Solovakia to win the 3rd ITF Futures event at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.

This was the last event of the ITF Futures series that started on March 29th , 2015 with the participation of high caliber players from over 30 different countries.

In doubles, titles also flew to Great Britain where the pair of Scott Clyton and James Marselake defeated the the team of Dmitry Popko of Kazakhstan and Kirill Dmitriev of Russia.

Tournament Director, Saad Al Mohannadi, said of this event, "We enjoyed both intensity and excitement during these three weeks of events, high quality matches took place where our national players had the chance to compete and enhance their skills and abilities.”

The trophy presentation followed the final match under the supervision of Tariq Zainal, QTF Assistant Secretary General with attendance of QTF’s employees and coaches and number of media representatives.
