QTSBF honors winners of Arab U13 Tennis Championship

The Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) held an honoring ceremony for its players who participated in the Arab U13 Tennis Championship concluded recently in Tunisia after claiming its three titles, in singles, doubles and teams events.
The ceremony was attended by the QTSBF Secretary General Tariq Zainal, the QTSBF Board Member and Head of National Teams Committee Khalid Al Khelaifi, the QTSBF Board Member Karim Alami and Deputy Head of National teams Committee Ibrahim Al Khelaifi.
During the ceremony, the QTSBF officials honored the three players Nasser al Yafei, Rashed Nawaf and Meshari Nawaf on their achievements. Ahmad Al Obaidli, Head of Qatar’s delegation to the event and Joseh Maria the team coach was also honored.
The QTSBF Board Member and Head of National Teams Committee Khalid Al Khelaifi gave a speech during the ceremony where he congratulated the players on their accomplishments at the Arab Championship and hailed their spirit and determination to raise high the flag of our nation.
Al Khalaifi stressed that these achievements made in the Arab championship will raise the bar of our ambitions and strengthen our confidence in our programs and plans.
He also added that the federation will increase the numbers of players who are studying at the world notable tennis academies.
For his part, the QTSBF Secretary General Tariq Zainal congratulated the players and the QTSBF family on this achievement at the Arab Championship applauding the efforts made by the players to make this accomplishment happens.
In his speech, Tariq Zainal confirmed that winning the Arab Tennis Championship in Tunisia will be a motivation for all the QTSBF family to add more titles to the federation’s glittering record.
Zainal also stressed that the federation is committed to support the Qatari players as they are the corner stone in the development of Qatar’s tennis.
The Qatari duo of Rashed Nawaf and Nasser Al Yafei said that they are happy and proud of winning three gold medals at the Arab Tennis Championship U13 years and stressed that this achievement is a step in the right direction.
The two players also hailed the support the of the Qatari tennis federation for the Qatari players which helped them make results possible.
