The 2nd Qatar ITF Junior Open came to an end the Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex on Saturday. The event was organized by the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF).
The medal ceremony was held under the supervision of senior QTSBF officials, amid attendance of fans and accompanying delegations.
The Italian duo of Andaloro Fabrizio and Maggioli Emiliano defeated Lanz Mischa of Switzerland and Pavlovic Andrija of Serbia to claim the title of doubles event.
n singles event, Sinner Jannik of Italy hoisted the trophy after his victory over Mayot Harold of France in the final match.
The prestigious event brought together around 100 players.
The tournament comes in light of the federation’s strategy to support the Qatari players and provide them with opportunity to compete with highly-ranked players.
