French player Arthur Cazaux wins the singles title at the Qatar Men’s World Tennis Tour 2024

French player Arthur Cazaux clinched the singles title in the third edition of the Qatar Men’s World Tennis Tour, organized by the Qatar Tennis Federation at the Khalifa International Complex over a week, with the participation of elite young players from around the world.

Cazaux, the tournament's second seed, triumphed in the final match over Italy’s Giovanni Fonio, the top seed, in straight sets with a score of 7-5, 6-3.

In the doubles competition, the Danish duo of Philip Hjorth and Christian Sigsgaard were crowned champions after defeating the team of Germany’s Adrian Oetzbach and Finland’s Eero Vasa in straight sets, 7-5, 7-5.

The awarding ceremony for the tournament winners was presided over by Mr. Saad Al Mohannadi, Executive Director of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Badminton & Padel Federation, in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Batti, Public Relations Manager of the Federation, along with a gathering of tennis enthusiasts.

In a statement during the closing ceremony, Mr. Saad Al Mohannadi congratulated the tournament winners and praised the high level of competition showcased by all players.

He affirmed that this year’s Qatar Men’s World Tennis Tour once again set an exemplary standard for organization and successfully attracted some of the best young players globally.

He also highlighted that the Qatar Tennis Federation will continue to host this category of tournaments to support Qatari players by providing them with opportunities to gain technical experience and progress in the global rankings.
