This evening marked the end of the second edition of the Qatar Asian Junior Tennis Championship (Boys and Girls under 14), hosted by the Qatar Tennis Federation at the Khalifa International Complex over the span of a week.

Indian player Darsh Khadekar claimed the Boys' singles title after defeating his Sri Lankan counterpart Nivan Kanangara in the final match with a straight set victory of 6-0, 6-2.
In the Boys' doubles competition, Khadekar, alongside his Romanian partner David Raducan, secured the first position after defeating the Iraqi team comprising Fahad Saif and Ahmed Al Talib in the final match with a score of 6-3, 6-2.
In the Girls' singles category, Uzbek player Muslimakon Tordimurodova claimed the title after overcoming her Turkmenistani counterpart Ailara Kakabayeva in the final match with a straight set victory of 6-4, 6-3.
Furthermore, the duo of Malikah Polatova from Uzbekistan and He Lam Ella Wong from Hong Kong clinched the Girls' doubles title after defeating the Qatari-Uzbek team of Dana Khalifa and Muslimakon Tordimurodova in the final match with a score of 6-4, 7-5.
The awards ceremony was overseen by Mr. Tariq Zainal, the General Secretary of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Badminton, and Table Tennis Federation, in the presence of tennis enthusiasts.
Mr. Zainal extended his congratulations to the winners, commending their strong performance and commitment to enhancing their technical skills through participation in these regional events.
He stated, "Through hosting this championship, we aim to support Qatari players and refine their talents, placing them on the right path, while also contributing to the global prominence of Asian tennis."
