Dimitar Kuzmanov of Bulgaria claimed the title of Qatar Men’s ITF World Tennis Tour organized by the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) in cooperation with International Tennis Federation (ITF) at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.
In the final match of singles event, Dimitar Kuzmanov defeated Danylo Kalenichenko of Ukraine 6-0 6-4.
In doubles event, Danylo Kalenichenko of Ukraine and IvanLiutarevich of Belarus took the first place.
The medal ceremony was attended by the QTF Executive Director and the Tournament Director Saad al Mohannadi
Saad Al Mohannadi congratulated the winners and stressed that the tournament featured a very tough competition among the participating players.
Al Mohannadi wished all success for the Qatari players in the second edition of Qatar Men’s ITF World Tennis Tour which began on Tuesday.
The ITF Men’s World Tennis Tour serves as the entry level for professional tennis and sits between the ITF Junior World Tennis Tour and the elite levels of men’s professional tennis. The results of ITF tournaments are incorporated into the ATP Ranking, which enables professionals to progress to the ATP Challenger Tour and, ultimately, the ATP Tour.
