Qatar’s Rashed Nawaf qualified to the second round of the ITF Championship being held in Antalya, Turkey until November 21.
Nawaf qualified to the second round after beating Dragomir Draganov of Bulgaria 7-5 2-6 6-3.
In the second round, Nawaf will take on Artur Kukasian of Russia who defeated Erden Er in the first round.
Last week, Nawaf qualified to the semifinals of the ITF Championships held in Mugla, Turkey.
Speaking on his tour in turkey, Nawaf said “I’m so happy that I’m back to the international events and that I had the opportunity to participate in some ITF championships in Turkey after break to Coronavirus outbreak”
Nawaf stressed that he aims to go as far as possible especially after reaching the semifinals of the ITF Championships in Mugla.
Rashed Nawaf who joined Mouratoglou Tennis Academy has made some huge achievements in his junior career as he claimed the title of Kungens Kanna & Drottningens Pris Tennis Championship and took the second place in Orange Bowl Championship.
