Qatar Asian Junior U14 Tournament continued at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex on Monday.
The tournament is held in cooperation with the Asian Tennis Federation and brings together 60 players.
Qatar’s Rashed Nawaf and Nasser Al Yafei qualified to quarterfinals of boys doubles event after beating Marwan Alkhanjari of Oman and Vivek Kolluru of India 6-2 6-2.
Nasser Al Khelaifi defeated Mohamad Kitouh of Syria 6-1 6-0 to reach the second round while Ali Al Yafei made it to the second round following his victory over Mohammad Al Shatti of Kuwait.
In girls singles event, Sheikha Khalifa qualified to the quarterfinals after beating Tamara Fakhouri 6-4 5-7 6-1.
