The Qatari Under 12 years team defeated their Omani counterparts 3-0 on Monday in the ITF Asian 12 & Under Team Championships 2017 – West Asia Regional Qualifying Event being held in Lebanon until March 31.
Qatar’s Adel Ghanem defeated Isa Al Suleimani 6-1 6-2 then Rashed Nawaf outplayed Marwan Al Khanjari 6-0 6-0. Moreover, the Qatari duo of Naif Rashed and Meshal Al Khanji overpowered Oman’s Isa Al Suleimani and Marwan Al Khanjari 6-1 6-0.
The team squad included Adel Ghanem, Naif Rashed and Meshal Al Khanji alongside the coach Hicham Yaqoubi and the administrator Ahmad Al Obaidli.
The event features the participation of Qatar, Bahrain, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Om and hosts Lebanon.
