The 2019 Qatar ExxonMobil National Teams Tennis Championship, organized by the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF), was concluded on Sunday at Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex. The championship featured the participation of 50 players.
The QTSBF Secretary-General Tariq Zainal, Vice President and Government Affairs Director for ExxonMobil Qatar Saleh Al Mana and the Championship Director Sultan Khalfan attended the medal ceremony.
Adel Ghanim claimed the title of boys under 14 years event after beating Meshaal Al Khenji in the final match while Fay Al Boloushi took the first place in girls under 14 years event following her victor over Khadija Qesma.
In boys under 12 years event, Hassan Adel took the first place while Fahad Al Khelaifi finished second.
Abdulaziz Muftah occupied the first place in boys under 10 years event ahead of Tamim Hasibe in the second place while Dorsaf Al Thani hoisted the trophy of girls under 10 years event.
Hadi Al Sharshani took the first place in boys under 9 years event ahead of Abdulrahman Al Neama in the second place while Jowhara Zainal won girls under 9 years event after beating Maryam Al Thani in the final match.
In boys under 8 years event, Abdullah Mohammad took the first place ahead of Jaber Khaled in the second place while Zainab Motawa claimed the title of girls under 8 years event with her victory over Alyaa Al Thani in the final match.
The QTSBF Secretary-General Tariq Zainal, said “We are proud of this cooperation with ExxonMobil Qatar which reflects our commitment to developing tennis in the state of Qatar by organizing this local championship”
For his part, Vice President and Government Affairs Director for ExxonMobil Qatar Saleh Al Mana said “We are delighted with the success of the championship thanks to the huge efforts made by our partners in the Qatar Tennis Federation”
Al Mana added that ExxonMobil Qatar is proud of its contribution to the development of tennis in the state of Qatar and providing the Qatari players with opportunity to play in a competitive and professional atmosphere.
