Qatar Men’s Tennis Team Arrive in France

The delegation of Qatar men’s tennis team arrived in France on Sunday to start a five-week training camp in preparation for the 2018 Asian Games to be staged in Indonesia from August 18 to September 02.

As per the training camp plan, the national team will spend two weeks in Paris, and then they will move to Nice to complete their training program.

Coached by Younes El Aynaoui, the Qatari squad includes Mousa Shanan, Mubarak Shanan, Issa Shanan, Jabor Al Mutawa, Rayene Alami and Mubarak Al Sulaiti.

Ibrahim Al Khelaifi, Deputy Head of National Teams Committee at the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) chairs the Qatari delegation.

Khalid Al Khelaifi, the QTSBF Board Member and Head of National Teams Committee, said “The men’s team training camp to be held France comes as a part of the summer training camp plan developed by the federation to provide its players with opportunity to compete with players from other countries”

 “We depend on this training camp as an important preparatory stage before participating in the Asian Games to be held in Indonesia next month,” he added.

Al Khelaifi stressed that the QTSBF is keen to help the national teams develop their level and improve their skills before the new season.

it’s worth mentioning that the Qatari U10, 12, 18 years old began their training camps in Turkey, Tunisia and France in preparation for the new season.
