Tennis fans can now purchase their tickets for the Qatar Total Open 2021 online at www.qatartennis.org from today.
The 19th edition of the annual WTA Premier 5 tournament will be held from March 1 to 6 at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex in Doha. It will feature Five of the world’s top-ten players.
In line with the health and safety measures put in place to ensure all participants’ safety due to the global COVID 19 pandemic, tickets are limited, and it is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Tournament Director Saad Al Mohannadi said, “We are delighted to commence the sales of tickets for this year’s edition of the Qatar Total Open. As much as we would have loved to have all our fans available for the tournament, we are constrained by the global pandemic, hence the need to limit attendance at the event. Nevertheless, we believe that the tournament will be as exciting as ever, and we urge all our fans who won’t be able to attend in-person to please connect with us online or on the TV broadcast.”
In all, a total of 32 players, including four qualifiers, will feature in the singles event of the $565,530 prize money, while 16 teams will slug it out in the doubles.
