Qatar’s Mubarak Shanan claimed the title of US PEQO Tennis Club Tournament held in Cannes, France recently on the sidelines of the national tennis team’s training camp.
Coached by Younes El Aynaoui, the Qatari squad includes Mousa Shanan, Mubarak Shanan, Issa Shanan, Jabor Al Mutawa, Rayene Alami and Mubarak Al Sulaiti.
Ibrahim Al Khelaifi, Deputy Head of National Teams Committee at the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) chairs the Qatari delegation.
The delegation of Qatar’s U16 and U18 years includes Rayyan Al Jefairi, Ghanim Ghalid Al Khelaifi and Mubaraka Al Naimi. The delegation is chaired by Ahmad Batti, Head of the QTSBF Public Relations Committee.
On the other hand, Mubaraka Al Naimi also clinched the title of Opio Tournament in Cannes, France earlier this week.
Khalid Al Khelaifi, the QTSBF Board Member and Head of National Teams Committee, said “The training camp being held France comes as a part of preparations for the 2018 Asian Games to be staged in Indonesia in August”
Al Khalaif also stressed the commitment of the federation to support the national team and will its players improve their level before the new season.
