The QTF Open Tennis Tournament in its 12th edition will begin at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex on Monday. The tournament will bring together 250 players.
The 10-day tournament will feature different age groups including boys and girls under 10, 12, 14, 18 years old, men, women and veterans.
To be held in knockout format, Team Qatar’s Nasser Al Khelaifi, Sultan Al Malki, Turkey Al Abdullah, Abdulaziz Zainal and Mubarka Al Naimi will participate in the tournament.
The QTF Board Member and Chairman of National Teams Committee, said “The QTF is proud of organizing this tournament year after year in lights of the huge popularity of tennis in the state of Qatar.
“The tournament contributed to promoting tennis in the state of Qatar and served as a platform for team Qatar players to compete with each other” He added.
