The first edition of the QTSBF & Rail Open Tennis Tournament continued in style at the Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex.
The event brings together 231 players including 89 players from national teams.
The event features different age groups including boys and girls under 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, and 18 years in addition to Men, Women and veterans’ events.
Essa Shanan and Mousa Shanan claimed the title of men’s doubles event after beating Anas Lamrani and Amro Abdo in the final match.
In boys under 10 years event “Green Ball”, Fahad Al Khelaifi and Hamad Al Thani qualified to the quarterfinals following their victory over Gheith Meknasi and Amin Tabal.
Saeed Al Kuwari hoisted the trophy of boys under 14 years event after beating Javier Maalouf in straight sets.
In boys under 18 years doubles event, Abdullah Khan and Ibrahim Khan took the first place ahead of Marso and Clement Herman in the second place.
In boys under years event “Orange Ball”, Tanani Sangafi claimed the title after beating Mazen Usama in the final match.
Mariam Al Aweely took the first place in girls under 14 years event ahead of Amna Homoud in the second place.
Dana Khalifa emerged victorious in girls under 10 years event “Orange Ball” while Sara bin Aziza hoisted the trophy of girls under 10 years event “Red Ball” after beating Raya Kohara in the final match.
Nasser Mutawa claimed the title of boys under 12 years event following his victory over Sultan Al Malki.
It worth mentioning that, the first edition of the QTSBF & Rail Open Tennis Tournament began on Monday and will be concluded on December 02.
