The 11thedition of Smash Tennis Academy Championship organized in cooperation with the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) was concluded at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex on Sunday.
The event brought together 350 players including Qatar’s national teams’ players.
Mr. Walid Geagea, General Director of Smash Tennis Academy and Mr. Ahmed Bati, Head of the QTF Public Relations Committee attended the medal ceremony.
Mubarak Shanan claimed the title of Men’s singles event following his victory over Mousa Shanan in the final match.
In Women’s event, Mabaraka Al Naimi took the first place ahead of Mariana Ramerez in the second place.
In Men’s doubles event, Mubarak Shanan teamed up with Jabor Al Mutawa to beat Amro Abdo and Anas Lamrani in the final match.
In boys under 18 years doubles event, Ibrahim Al Sulaiti and Yousef Al Sulaiti claimed the first place ahead of Marso Bro and Clemont Harman in the second place.
On the other hand, Qatar’s Sultan Al Malki and Adel Ghanim hoisted the trophy of boys under 14 years doubles event after beating Meshaal Al Khenji and Nasser Al Khelaifi in the final match.
In boys under 12 years doubles event, Fahad Al Khelaifi and Hassan Wali took the second place behind Ayan Shodry and Hamza Al Sayyed.
In boys under 10 years doubles event, Rayyan Meknasi and Amin Tabal emerged victorious after edging past Abdulaziz Al Muftah and Abdullah Al Mahmoud in the final match.
Clemont Harman hoisted the trophy of boys under 18 years event while Samer Shalhoub finished second.
In girls under 14 years event, Qatar’s Sheikha Khalifa occupied the first place ahead of Marine Doverger in the second place.
Turkey Abdullah claimed the title of boys under 14 years event after beating Javier Nicolas in the final match.
In girls under 12 years event, Magdalina Christo took the first place ahead of Khadija Qassama in the second place.
Ayan Shodry defeated Hamza Al Sayyed in final match of boys under 12 years event to take the first place.
Dana Al Sheikh claimed the first place in girls under 10 years event while Dana Khalifa finished second.
In boys under 8 years event, Abbad Ahmed claimed the first place while Attiq Mohamed Ghareeb took the second place.
Zainab Mutawa hoisted the trophy of girls under 8 years event following her victory over Jayana Haddad in the final match.
In girls under 9 years event, Sarah bin Aziza took the first place ahead of Massa Hossam in the second place.
The QTF Board Member and Chairman of National Teams Committee Khalid Al Khelaifi congratulated the winners and hailed the level of Smash Academy Championship in its 11thEdition.
Al Khelaifi stressed that the QTF will continue its cooperation with Smash Academy to develop Tennis in the state of Qatar and stressed that this local event help promote Tennis in the local community.
The Smash Academy Championships was organized in cooperation with the QTF and light of its strategy to promote Tennis in state of Qatar.
