Sales of tickets for the prestigious WTA tournament in Doha – Qatar Total Open – has now started online and in various shopping malls in Qatar starting Friday.
The tournament will be held from February 12 to 18 at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex in Doha.
Tickets are now available in the malls at City Center, Landmark, Lagoona, Villaggio or online at www.qatartennis.org
World No. 1 and 2014 champion Simona Halep of Romania is headlining a galaxy of star players which include defending champion Karolina Pliskova of Czech Republic, Garbine Muguruza of Spain, Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki and former world No. 1 Angelique Kerber of Germany at the tournament.
“We are once again ready to host another successful event. Qatar Total Open has the prestigious acclaim of being one of the strongest WTA events of its category as well as being the best in the region. This year’s event will not be different as we are prepared to raise the bar even higher,” said Tournament Director Saad Al Mohannadi.
“We are looking forward to seeing the fans troop out in large numbers to experience this amazing week of tennis, he added.
